Paiste 2002 22" Ride

This is my Paiste 22"
Ride, it is the perfect ride cymbal for me.
I love it because I can do everything with this
cymbal. It is a great ride and a crash. The bell
is nice and loud so I can play rock, funk and
latin stuff. My dad used to play one back in the
80's.
This is my Paiste 4"
2002 Accent Cymbal, I use it for low/medium
volume passages with the drums. I have it
mounted upside down on my 19" Paiste 2002 Crash.
I'm testing my new Roland Octa-Capture
interface. I recorded this video using only one
Audix ADX51 Condenser overhead microphone. I
also used a Sony HX1 camera, Adobe Premiere and
Cakewalk Sonar LE to record the audio/video.

Este é meu novo Paiste 2002 Accent Cymbal de 4",
eu uso ele para passagens de volume baixo/médio
com a bateria, montado invertido na cúpula do
meu Paiste 2002 19" Crash.
Estou testando minha interface Roland
Octa-Capture. Eu gravei este vídeo usando apenas
um microfone condensador Audix ADX51 como
overhead. Também usei uma câmera Sony HX1, Adobe
Premiere e Cakewalk Sonar LE.

Participei de um evento
para parceiros do Youtube hoje em São Paulo.
Youtube NEXTUP. Evento muito bacana onde tive
oportunidade de conhecer alguns dos parceiros do
Youtube.
Os canais do Youtube estão passando por uma
reformulação também e estou migrando meu canal
para o novo canal. Estou fazendo algumas
alterações no visual, principalmente na página
principal portanto durante o próximo mês devo
mudar bastante meu canal. Estou alterando também
algumas características de funcionamento para
otimizar o canal.
Vou gravar novos vídeos assim que meus
microfones chegarem aqui em SP!
I was invited to a pretty cool event here in São
Paulo yesterday, Youtube NEXTUP. I had the
opportunity to know better about Youtube and I
got to know some Brazilian Youtube Partners.
Youtube Channels have a new design and I already
switched to the new one. I'm still making some
visual changes so I'll be changing it a lot this
month.
I'll record new videos as soon as my microphones
arrive here in São Paulo!
Toquei hoje com minha banda
Quebra-Cabeça na FIESP, em São Paulo:
Sábado tive a oportunidade de assistir
Stewart Copeland tocando aqui em São Paulo no auditório
Ibirapuera. Depois de muitos anos assistindo e escutando The
Police, finalmente assisti Stewart tocando ao vivo, bem de
perto, uns 10 metros de distância. Dava pra escutar o som
natural dos pratos e bateria, foi realmente uma aula.
Todos os elementos que são característicos que ele colocou no
Police, ele tocou com a banda: as frases de hi-hat e do ride,
frases entre grooves nos tons, crashes, etc. De quebra
uma das baquetas que ele jogou caiu praticamente na minha mão
kkkkk. Consegui uma foto pra guardar como recordação também.
